His work decodes the unconscious signals from the gut that shape behavior—unlocking a new class of interventions for nutrition and metabolic health. From launching ventures to advancing academic research, Marco’s career centers on transforming foundational science into scalable, real-world solutions. His vision is twofold: (1) to pioneer AI-powered food technologies that deliver personalized nutrition by leveraging data on how the gut encodes nutrient information, and (2) to shift the paradigm of disease prevention by targeting the gut as the entry point to brain and metabolic health.
