Alam Coss
Postdoctoral Associate
Alam received his bachelor degree in Mechatronical Engineering and his MS and PhD in Bioelectronics in CINVESTAV, Mexico City. He is experienced in behavioral science, surgical procedures, in-vivo microscopy, electrophysicology and optogenetics as well as designing and building tools for the acquisition and analysis of neuronal data. As a Postdoctoral Associate in the Bohórquez Lab, he is interested in expanding our understanding of the gut-brain connection and use it to alter complex behavioral outputs from the intestine.
