Kayla Cao is an undergraduate student from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She plans to receive her B.S. in Neurobiology and minor in Music. In the Bohórquez laboratory, she works under Dr. Naama Reicher and is investigating how infection affects gut-brain connectivity. Outside of the lab, she likes to play the piano and spend time outdoors.
