Megan is a passionate health administration professional who aspires to aid in the delivery of health innovations to those in need. She obtained her B.S. in Public Health and Business Administration from East Carolina University in May of 2016. After graduation, Megan worked as a Program Specialist at the North Carolina Division of Public Health where she aided the Community and Clinical Connections for Prevention and Health Branch to obtain funding for nutrition and physical activity programs. In May of 2019, Megan obtained her Master of Health Administration with a concentration in Health Information Management from Appalachian State University. In the Bohórquez laboratory, she assists our team in submitting and managing research awards.
